Main mistakes in your exams

3º ESO:

  • She is deportist.  She is a sportswoman.
  • She is a very pretty. ⇨ She is very pretty.
  • In the last month.  ⇨ Last month.
  • Then went to had lunch.  Then we went to have lunch.
  • A movie horror.  A horror movie.
  • He has about 50 years old.  He is about 50 years old.
  • After he works.  After that he works.
  • He went to home.  He went home.
  • your family  his family / her family / their family
  • She is wearing black T-shirt.  She is wearing a black T-shirt.
  • His about 20.   He is about 20. / He's about 20.
  • He is slept. ⇨ He goes to bed. / He goes to sleep.
  • wrong spellings: an (=and), puppys, old (=all), hear (=hair), an (=and), sleeped
  • false friends: bland, stamped, periodic

4º ESO:

  • She's wearing a blue trousers and brown.  She's wearing blue and brown trousers.
  • Next Christmas probably I'll be travelling...  Next Christmas I'll probably travel to...
  • In next Christmas  next Christmas
